Thermace heat pumps have been developed over the last 10-plus years with over 45,000 units sold across Europe, and now they are here in Australia. Bringing in the extra quality catering for temperatures ranging from 15 degrees up to 85 degrees Celsius, they cover a vast array of water heating projects from cold plunge pools to gas boiler replacement systems.
They are suitable for many industries including hospitals, resorts, hotels, process manufacturing, swimming pools, aquaculture and more and suit outdoor and plantroom applications.

Thermace heat pumps suit most Commercial pools, cold pools, and spas. They are ideal for swim schools, apartments, resorts, public pools and other commercial heat pump projects.
They have an ergonomic and attractive design, in a quality powder-coated sheet metal chassis or upgradable to 304 stainless steel chassis for that high-quality feel and durability. Product lifespan is more important than warranty periods. Units that last 10-plus years and provide long-term value for money outway systems that die just outside of warranty.
The Thermace Inverter heat pump is a full DC-inverter heat pump—a full-inverter compressor and a full-inverter fan motor power it. The heat pump automatically adjusts compressor and fan speed to suit the environment and pool's needs and maximises optimal efficiency. Its COP is up to 70% higher than the normal Off-On heat pumps, and up to 50% higher than normal inverter heat pumps. The Platypus heat pumps are also whisper quiet with noise levels as low as 36 dBa at 1 m.

Thermace Inverter Heat Pumps come with the very latest technology.
A full DC-inverter heat pump is a full-inverter compressor and a full-inverter fan motor that power it. The heat pump automatically adjusts compressor and fan speed to suit the environment and pool's needs and maximises optimal efficiency. Its COP is up to 70% higher than the normal Off-On heat pumps, and up to 50% higher than normal inverter heat pumps.
3-Core Technology - Advanced cutting-edge and superior mechanical 3-Core Technology. Smart Inverter control, Twin-Rotary inverter compressors and DC brushless fan motors. Delivering COPs up to 70% higher than on/off heat pumps and up to 50% higher than normal inverter heat pumps. By adopting high efficient dual-rotor DC inverter compressor, 180°sinusoidal frequency conversion control technology, DC fan with variable air volume, industrial-grade linear electronic expansion valve for accurate adjustment of refrigerant circulation flow, advanced full-function mode control core algorithm, with super cooling and heating performance.
Low Noise - The super quiet twin-rotary inverter compressors and DC brushless fan motor system and 5-fold noise insulation on the compressor and all panels provide up to 10 times quieter swimming environment. With some units having noise levels as low as dBa 36 at 1m
Low ambient Operation - The Platypus Inverter heat pump technology allows for extreme cold environmental operations even as low as minus 15 degrees.

Water Boost & Constant Temperature Control - Platypus Inverter technology modifies the compressor's frequencies coupled with the EEV technology allowing the smart controls to boost the ramp speed of the unit saving up to 50% in heating ramp times over standard on of units. This same technology allows the unit to maintain stable pool temperatures all year round.
Automatic Anti-Freeze Protection - The heat pump has multi-level anti-freeze control.
Patented Spiral Titanium Heat Exchangers - The titanium spiral tube heat exchangers ensure high heat exchange efficiencies, prevent corrosion and prolong the unit's life.
Electronic Expansion Valve Control (EEV)- adjustment and fast action speed. It adapts to the instantaneous change of refrigerant flow and ensures the stability and reliability of the heat pump system. Especially in low-temperature conditions, compared to thermal expansion valves, it can more accurately react to overheating conditions, providing accurate and rapid adjustment. Combined with DC inverter technology, it can make accurate refrigerant flow output in a wide operating range to ensure the stability of the system water temperature.

Product lifespan is more important than warranty periods. Units that last 10-plus years and provide long-term value for money outway systems that die just outside of warranty.
The Thermace Inverter heat pump is designed to work in a wide abient condition from minus 7 to 43 degrees. The hot water heat pumps utilise R134a and can reach output temperatures up to 70 degrees with 20-degree ambient conditions. However, 55 to 60 is the normal capacity.
Available in over 10 On/Off standard models.

With COPs often up around 4 a Thermace heat pump running cost can save up to 70% of your hot water bill over standard element heat pumps and up to 50% over gas boilers.
Centralised Control - Thermace heat pumps can control up to 16 units in a master-slave arrangement. By incorporating the master-slave control into a design the whole system will work together with higher efficiency without interference by any failure of any of the slave units during operation.

Thermace Ultra Hot Water Heat Pumps
Thermace Ultra hot water heat pumps are designed for efficiency and performance. Thermace units are designed with advanced and powerful Cascade technology that allows for consistent temperature outputs even at below-freezing ambient temperatures.
They have an ergonomic and attractive design, in a quality powder-coated sheet metal chassis or upgradable to 304 stainless steel chassis for that high-quality feel and durability. Product lifespan is more important than warranty periods. Units that last 10-plus years and provide long-term value for money outway systems that die just outside of warranty.
The Thermace Ultra Hot heat pumps use a cascade system. This means that rather than a single compressor powering them, they use 2 in partnership between them. The First (R32 or R421a) compressor draws heat from the air and preheats the second stage. The Second stage (R134a) is then heated up to 85 degrees. This two-stage cascade system offers unique high-performance stable temperature outputs.

Amazing Ambient Management System - The Thermace PFC control system allows the Thermace Ultra Hot heat pump to work in environments even as cold as minus 35 degrees and into the 50 degree temperature range.
PFC Control, EEV & EVI Inverter Technology - Smart Controls utilise the DC inverter, EEV & EVI technology that on first heat will save you 50% of the heating time over traditional heat pumps. The unique EVI + DC inverter technology can also control the internal compressor and refrigerant flow to ensure constant water temperature output without the need for a secondary backup element. Incorporating these PFC control methods the heat pump actively seeks to manage kW demand and temperature requirements even at very low ambient conditions. The Thermace system's smarts have been seen repeatedly saving up to 30% less electricity than standard heat pumps.
Unique 2-Stage Cascade Design - The unique 2-Stage cascade heating technology utilising R410A system to preheat the R134a system. Delivering a stable and robust heat pump up to 60 to 85 Degrees Celsius, even at low ambient conditions.
Modbus RS485 & Centralised Control - Thermace heat pumps can control up to 8 units in a master-slave arrangement. By incorporating the master-slave control into a design the whole system will work together with higher efficiency without interference by any failure of any of the slave units during operation.
Automatic Anti-Freeze Protection - The heat pump has multi-level anti-freeze control.
Patented Spiral Titanium Heat Exchangers - The titanium spiral tube heat exchangers ensure high heat exchange efficiencies, prevent corrosion and prolong the unit's life.
Electronic Expansion Valve Control (EEV)- adjustment and fast action speed. It adapts to the instantaneous change of refrigerant flow and ensures the stability and reliability of the heat pump system. Especially in low-temperature conditions, compared to thermal expansion valves, it can more accurately react to overheating conditions, providing accurate and rapid adjustment.
