A unique modular style, independent stage smarts, centralised electricals & water heading system, 304 or 316 stainless steel chassis, the highest grade baked-on epoxy coil coating, patented Toyesi’s own Cu-Ni heat exchangers, or high-end industrial-grade titanium heat exchangers, to maximize heat transfer and efficiencies, and front fan design coupled with reverse-cycle defrost, giving our units an unparalleled trouble-free lifespan.

A swimming pool’s heat load requirements can be affected by the pool’s location, ambient temperature, desired pool temperature, and the use of pool covers amongst many other factors. The below guides are based on 27°C pool temperature and the tabulated “Litres of Water” is an estimated pool volume guide and is there only as a suggested unit size guide. Commercial pools or pools with high personal use should always seek a sizing estimate.

Thermace Heat Pumps
Thermace heat pumps suit most Commercial pools, cold pools, and spas. They are ideal for swim schools, apartments, resorts, public pools and other commercial heat pump projects.
They have an ergonomic and attractive design, in a quality powder-coated sheet metal chassis or upgradable to 304 stainless steel chassis for that high-quality feel and durability. Product lifespan is more important than warranty periods. Units that last 10-plus years and provide long-term value for money outway systems that die just outside of warranty.
The Thermace Inverter heat pump is a full DC-inverter heat pump—a full-inverter compressor and a full-inverter fan motor power it. The heat pump automatically adjusts compressor and fan speed to suit the environment and pool's needs and maximises optimal efficiency. Its COP is up to 70% higher than the normal Off-On heat pumps, and up to 50% higher than normal inverter heat pumps. The Platypus heat pumps are also whisper quiet with noise levels as low as 36 dBa at 1 m.

Thermace Inverter Heat Pumps come with the very latest technology.
A full DC-inverter heat pump is a full-inverter compressor and a full-inverter fan motor that power it. The heat pump automatically adjusts compressor and fan speed to suit the environment and pool's needs and maximises optimal efficiency. Its COP is up to 70% higher than the normal Off-On heat pumps, and up to 50% higher than normal inverter heat pumps.

Water Boost & Constant Temperature Control - Platypus Inverter technology modifies the compressor's frequencies coupled with the EEV technology allowing the smart controls to boost the ramp speed of the unit saving up to 50% in heating ramp times over standard on of units. This same technology allows the unit to maintain stable pool temperatures all year round.
Automatic Anti-Freeze Protection - The heat pump has multi-level anti-freeze control.
Patented Spiral Titanium Heat Exchangers - The titanium spiral tube heat exchangers ensure high heat exchange efficiencies, prevent corrosion and prolong the unit's life.
Electronic Expansion Valve Control (EEV)- adjustment and fast action speed. It adapts to the instantaneous change of refrigerant flow and ensures the stability and reliability of the heat pump system. Especially in low-temperature conditions, compared to thermal expansion valves, it can more accurately react to overheating conditions, providing accurate and rapid adjustment. Combined with DC inverter technology, it can make accurate refrigerant flow output in a wide operating range to ensure the stability of the system water temperature.

Looking for Something Else?
Save on Running Costs
Having your pool heated is a very exciting time for both domestic and commercial companies, but running expenses is always in the back of the mind. There are many ways to reduce running costs, and still heat your pool for all or at least most of the year.
- Pool blanket use is by far the best investment. Even if you only bring them out over winter, they can save you a whopping 40% off that electricity bill.
- Pool equipment timers can also be engaged, but make sure you allow enough hours to get your pool heated.
- Reduce shade cover for outdoor pools. Although it is nice to have some shade cover over parts of your pool, limiting this will allow you to maximise direct solar gains.
- Heat pump location can be critical. They are more efficient during the warmer months, so their placement is especially important during the colder months. Cold damp locations that are out of sight out of mind are not always the best places to hide heat pumps.
- Airflow considerations. In heating, heat pumps produce cold air. By making sure this cold air is free to move away from the heat pump is key to heat pump efficiencies. Closed-off areas that trap the air will starve the heat pump of new warmer air and can cause icing up of your heat pump. Top discharge heat pumps are more prone to this issue.
