Aquarium Heaters and Chillers

3 Modes.

The Trident aquarium heaters and chillers can operate in one of 3 modes. Heating Only Mode, Cooling Only Mode or Automatic Mode.  The Automatic mode automatically switches between heating and cooling as required.

Smart Central Control

Smart controls enable several heat pumps to work together under one master system control. Or you can set up units to run independently depending on the situation.

• R32 or R410a refrigerants (R410a standard)
• Spiral titanium heat exchangers
• Electronic expansion valves (EEV)
• Insulated cabinet and compressor for quieter operation.
• Phone control is optional.

Looking across the aquatic industry we noticed that on the smaller end of the picture there was a significant need for small compact systems for water temperature control. There are small aquatic heaters and small aquatic chillers. But we saw that there were no systems that could handle both heating and chilling in a simple compact design. Designed for projects ranging from 1000 to 5000 litres of water.

The mini heater chiller is an imported range of heat pumps. Designed with simplicity and affordability in mind. Ideal for large home aquariums or smaller commercial aquariums and research systems from 1000 L to 5000L. However, if your system is larger than this we suggest looking at our standard Australian made Trident heat pumps.

Despite the mini heater chiller being compact in design it is recommended for installing outdoors or where there is plenty of air movement. They have the same needs as any heat pump or air conditioner system.
